I am a son of Scotland and what follows is no lie;
I live and breathe beneath the gaze of the curséd English eye,
There’s suffering all around me, and war is in the air.
Remember well each Scot that fell, and let our rage start there!

And it’s go, lads, go—they steal our very breath!
And every day they’re in our home is two days nearer death,

Berwick’s river flowed with blood for two days without fail
For Longshanks slaughtered every soul, and never did he pale.
He took the Stone of Destiny, the Black Rood, and our Crown—
Courage, now! This solemn vow: we’ll put him in the ground!

As Guardian, Wallace lit the fire in our veins,
And Bruce has used the spear and sword to be the English Bane.
No more will Scottish families and highlands slave away,
No broken backs to feed their tax. We’ll make those bastards pay!

We are Sons of Scotland, and we’ll make our stand right here.
